4-week course: Starting a practice
Starts week commencing 10th March

Having explored the basics of meditation, on this 4-week course we will start to learn how to make meditation part of our daily routine. We will gain direct experience of the special presentation of the essence of Buddha's teachings, known as Lamrim.

Though these meditations are simple and easy to understand, they contain the entire Buddhist path to enlightenment. Once we have gained some familiarity with these meditations, we will be able to carry this experience into our daily lives.

"Lamrim instructions are not given merely for the sake of intellectual understanding of the path to enlightenment. They are given to help us to gain deep experience, and should therefore be put into practice. If we train our mind in these meditations every day, eventually we shall gain perfect realisations of all the stages of the path."
